Ameer Khan

Ameer Khan, an engineering graduate from Pondicherry, had wished for a conventional career in his field. However, four years ago, his life took a turn when his father passed away. Aamir’s father had a humble craft of creating beautiful pieces from coconut shells, a skill that Aamir has admired since his childhood. Feeling a profound connection to his father's work after his passing, Aamir has decided to honor his legacy by continuing the craft.

In a small workshop in Pondicherry, he meticulously carves each piece by hand, creating unique and cherished items that have become well-known in his city. Despite the local appreciation, his talent has yet to gain broader recognition. Now a father himself, Aamir balances his time between his newborn and his craft, ensuring nothing goes to waste - selling or using the coconut insides for his family. Aamir's journey is a blend of tradition, love, and sustainability, reflecting the deep bond between a father and son and the legacy of their shared skill.
